The Twelve Twelve Company was inspired by a history of entrepreneurship and family business instilling a sense of purpose in bringing together people to build something that is greater than the sum of its parts.
Sara Ross | Founder and Principal
Sara is passionate about finding a business to acquire and operate in for the long-term. She comes from a long history of small business ownership and values the role a business can play in its community and the impact it can have on its employees.
Sara has 15 years of experience in General Management, Investing, and Business Building at both large and small companies. She has diverse industry experience and a proven track record of leading teams and critical projects. Most recently, Sara worked in the investment arm of the DeVos family office. Prior to that, she worked at Rock Ventures, Dan Gilbert’s family office, focused on driving operational improvements across his portfolio of companies.
Sara received a Bachelor’s in Business Administration (BBA) from the University of Michigan. As a Michigan native who has lived in Detroit, Ann Arbor, and Grand Rapids, Sara has an appreciation for what this state can offer. She is passionate about youth sports, public policy, and cycling.
