The Twelve Twelve Company was inspired by a history of entrepreneurship and family business instilling a sense of purpose in bringing together people to build something that is greater than the sum of its parts.
Sara Ross | Founder and Principal
Sara Ross is passionate about business, people, and community. She began working in her family’s golf course business at the age of twelve, where she observed in her dad the impact an owner/CEO can have on employees, customers, and the community. She also embraced the willingness and flexibility to take on any role necessary to get the job done.
After she graduated from the University of Michigan, she went on to start her career in Finance at PwC. Most recently, Sara held both investing and operating roles at two of the largest family offices in Michigan.
During her time working for Dan Gilbert and the Devos Family, Sara had experience transforming businesses using technology; building new products and teams, managing strategic partnerships and high-value customer relationships; and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
With more than 15 years of experience at large and small organizations, Sara is returning to her roots. She is looking for a Michigan-based business to acquire and operate for the long-term.
Sara currently resides in Grand Rapids, MI. Her interests include spending time with family, cycling, youth sports, and public policy.
